Project Description

TWC led broad community consultation with a variety of community members – social service agencies, economic development staff, the large local mining company and Indigenous organizations regarding the housing needs in the northern Ontario community being impacted by the creation of a new gold mine. The work included gaining an understanding of the three small not-for- profit housing corporations in the community and the opportunities for co-ordination and collaboration between the housing entities. This work also included undertaking a housing needs assessment for the community.
