Project Description

As part of this project, TWC engaged with community members conducting interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders to investigate the key gaps and barriers in the homelessness system. Findings were analyzed and synthesized into five central goals with subsequent recommendations on how to reach those goals. Furthermore, specific action items were illustrated to pave a clear path for region staff to implement the recommendations.

This project offers several comparable elements to Cornwall’s Housing and Homelessness Plan Update, homelessness responses and recommendations, community engagement, the complexities of working with the service manager responsible for supporting area municipalities. The final Integrated Homelessness System Plan is posted on their website.
