425 Coxwell Addition

Missing Middle Housing Capacity Study — Project Details

Project Description

A 12-unit affordable rental addition to NFARC’s existing 74-unit affordable housing building at 419 – 425 Coxwell Avenue in the City of Toronto. This project is intended to help address the acute need for more affordable rental housing for Indigenous residents of modest incomes.

The new affordable units will house Indigenous persons and provide cultural support services to ensure successful tenancies. The new addition implemented energy efficient building techniques to reduce both environmental impact as well as long-term operating costs.
