Supportive Housing of Waterloo (SHOW)
362 Erb Street West, Waterloo, Ontario
SHOW has built an affordable five-storey, 30-unit apartment building consisting of one-bedroom units targeted to prematurely aged adults experiencing or at-risk of chronic homelessness. Support services are made available on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for case management and life skills supports. The one-bedroom units are self-contained and are 500 sq ft.
SHOW was one of three Region of Waterloo funding recipients announced in the summer of 2009 as part of the Affordable Housing Program Extension.
TWC Work
TWC has acted as the housing development consultant and completed tasks such as applying for AHP, Government contribution agreements, cash flow, and the arrangement of mortgage financing.
