The Fenelon Area Independent Living Association (FAILA) is developing a 25-unit addition to the existing 25-unit seniors building located at 105 Lindsay street in the Town of Fenelon Falls, City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.
Consisting of 19 one-bedroom apartments (600 square feet) and 6 two-bedroom apartments (800 square feet), the units will feature universal design and incorporate a number of energy efficient building elements.
TWC Work:
- TWC wrote the successful proposal to award FAILA with Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing funding.
- TWC has acted as housing development consultant with tasks including moving FAILA through the Ministerial Consent process for adding units to existing social housing.
